Frozen Themed Birthday Card for a 6 year old.

A coworker's daughter is having a Frozen themed birthday.
I don't like using copy-write or trademarked images.

I made a cascade card out of DCWV paper.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut.

I hope she likes the card, and I really hope her daughter loves it!

Playing with Type

I always see these beautiful illustrations of Biblical Passages.
I thought I would give it whirl. Typography isn't easy. I see
some spacing issues in this, but that is how we learn; we make
mistakes. I am pretty happy with it none-the-less.

I used Adobe Illustrator.

Clean and Simple - Crazy for Challenges

Clean and Simple Cards and a Jenna Belle photo.
Enjoy your day!!!

I used my gelli plate and acrylic paint to make the background.
I then used a Silhouette Studio die-cut as a single layer.
Glued it all on a card and voila'.

Jenna likes to watch me in my craft room.

Here is another gelli plate card.
This one I put the die-cut in reverse
and used it as a mask on the last layer.

I hope you enjoyed the Clean and Simple Cards for Crazy for Challenges.

Each day truly is a gift.

Happy Birthday Cascade Card

A new obsession for me is the cascade card.
I am going to make some more today.

Here is a girly birthday card.

I am making another one with stickles on the
top of the paper.  It is going to be a margarita
themed birthday card. It looks like a salted glass.

The sentiment on this card says,
"What a girl want is what a girl gets".

I hope you have a truly Blessed 2015;
Happy New Year!

A Hallelujah Christmas Scripture Challenge

I used the last verse of the song selected for this challenge. I am playing along at Triple the Scraps.

I know You came to rescue me
This baby boy would grow to be
A man and one day die for me and you
My sins would drive the nails in You
That rugged cross was my cross, too
Still every breath You drew was Hallelujah

I couldn't stop thinking of "Oh Christ, lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world. Have mercy on us." while making this card.

I used the passages of Galatians 1:3-5 for the sentiment verse for this card.
I am sending it along as a New Year's card. My friend since kindergarten's daughter got married this year. She sent me a Christmas card, and I hadn't sent her one. I wanted to send her a beautiful message that would work for the New Year. I truly felt this was a fit.

This is a cascade card. It ships flat and stands on its own.
I used a church die-cut from my silhouette, along with the little lambs.
I used a Cuttlebug embossing die with the argyle pattern.
I added some paint with my gelli plate that I had out for another craft today.
The chalkboard sentiments are from the Paper Studio.

I hope you enjoy my little card. I hope my friend's newlywed daughter and son-in-law enjoy it as well. They are a blessing and I am sure will appreciate the messages in the card.

I hope your Christmas was wonderful. We skipped the commercial entrapments this year and truly celebrated the birth of Christ. What a great Christmas it was. I think my favorite so far!
