Merry and BrightDress up a tree was the challenge today at the Saturday Spotlight.
My tree is from Stampin' Up! I tried doing some simple cards today, and really liked the outcome. I usually layer, and layer and layer. I REALLY like this card, and hope you do too.
This card was made using a sketch over at Unscripted Sketches.
The Candle is a punch meant for Birthdays, but definitely could be used for Christmas or Halloween, or Thanksgiving, any holidays where we light lots of candles.
This card is for Day # 224 at 365 Cards.
The theme was to do some layering with fussy cutting. Santa's outfit is made out of a Tartan paper from Basic Grey's June Bug line.

Ho Ho Ho
Ho Ho Ho Our Creative Corner had this sketch today.
The whole shebang is made up of Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper and rub-ons.
Shadow Stamping in Bethlehem
Shadow Stamping in BethlehemDay # 223 at 365 Cards
Use a stamp to make a shadow. I stamped the image, then colored it in a grayish purple color to represent a shadow. I then stamped it again and colored it in "COLOR".
This is "A simple gift" stamp set from Stampin' Up! The sentiment is from Wordsworth.
