Sometimes Pets Pass Away

Here is an idea for a clean and simple card.
I cut the cloud free hand.  Then I added the Kitty from a Provo Craft punch, and inked them both.  I attached them to a white card, and drew the halo with Stickles gold.
The inside is a stamped sentiment that reads, "Sharing in your Sorrow".

  1. This is beautiful Kristen...So CAS and we all know I'm a CAS kinda gal!! I hope you and yours have a Very Merry Christmas! =0)

  2. Such a beautiful card and the golden halo is the perfect touch.
Hope all is going well with you. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

  3. What a sweet idea. Merry Christmas!

  4. This is a really wonderful card to keep on hand for when a friend loses a fur family member. I think you did a beautiful clean and simple card here.

We have missed you over at Opus Gluei, but understand you have a lot going on with school. Just stop by and visit on vacation!

    Take care and Merry Christmas!

  5. When my 17 year old Bichon had to be put to sleep last November, I would have cherished that card. Our puppy mill rescue, a 4 year old Maltese, that we saved last December, is one of those dogs that KNOWS you saved him. Always happy, always by my side...I'm thinking that a "welcome home furbaby" card might be something I'd like to make next.

I make cards also, and tried to carry my Cuttlebug on a flight. I don't recommend this, because I got pulled out of line. Security thought it was a bomb.

  6. Sweet Card! I just lost my cat 2 weeks ago, so this card is fitting. The pain is immense, but it helps when people recognize when it is difficult to lose a pet. I found comfort in your card even though I don't know you!

  7. Beautiful card and a great idea to comfort a friend whose lost a furry friend. ~Diane
